Field notes:
1959 was a banner year for baby food jars with the new popping lid. It could alert anxious moms as to the freshness and safety of the food for her young one. I would like to introduce you to the 1959 Gerber baby of the year. This baby as you can tell is a prime example of the popping lid. Can you tell by her freshness? The Gerber baby's mom is astonished because she has just been awarded a year's devotion and love by the baby's dad. I can tell this by the measure of the opening of her mouth. (Tua handles her mouth exactly in the same manner when she thinks about love and devotion.) A statement of fashion has been made with mom and baby. But sadly no awards will be given for this.
